Sailing in the Abacos

A bareboat yacht charter in the Abacos delivers a premium, no-stress sailing holiday. Gentle trade winds deliver a warm, pleasant climate. In winter occasional northerly fronts bring fresh breezes from the northwest.

Navigation is mainly line of sight, although waters tend to the shallow and tidal range is something to keep an eye on, particularly during a new or full moon, due to shallow waters. Daily high temperatures range from 75 F (24 C) in January to 95 F (35 C) in August.
