“We sailed La Guêpe (the wasp) a 36′ Jeanneau on a 7 boat flotilla. We had good winds, not always on the nose! The lead crew Chris, Alex and Katy were marvellous, really good fun and helpful. We met some lovely people and had a really good sail with good locations to have a good sociable get-together. The flotilla (not too serious) points competition was a good idea but it’s amazing how competitive people can get. We came a creditable 3rd. I think it was our cocktail that helped.”

“Having researched various yacht charter companies I decided to go with Sunsail. Their base at Zea in Athens is fine and facilities and restaurants are good. I chartered a new Jeanneau 41 which was well presented and clean. It had aircon and electric heads as standard which was a pleasant surprise. Staff were all pleasant and efficient. We had planned on doing the Saronic and Argonic and eventually got as far as Monneviasta in the Peloponnese which is absolutely beautiful. We had an issue with the holding tank but a call into Sunsail saw us getting this fixed in Poros. Apart from that and an empty spare gas tank, all worked perfectly.
Although not the cheapest, Sunsail will provide support should you need it. Given I was sailing with mostly novices I felt the support would offer peace of mind and allow me to enjoy my all too brief 2 week charter.
I would certainly consider Sunsail again for my next sailing holiday, perhaps this time in a Cat.😀
