The Sunsail 434 – Modern Performance with Space for Everyone

A new generation of sailing catamaran designed for effortless cruising, social living, and rewarding performance.

Developed in partnership with Robertson & Caine and naval architects Simonis Voogd, the Sunsail 434 represents the next evolution of Sunsail’s mid-size sailing fleet. Replacing the highly successful Sunsail 424, this all-new model builds on the trusted Leopard DNA of space, performance, and visibility while introducing modern design innovations that enhance comfort and usability at sea.

Purpose-built for charter, the Sunsail 434 delivers a balanced blend of sailing capability and relaxed onboard living. With spacious social areas, a bright panoramic saloon, and a flexible four-cabin layout for up to eight guests, this catamaran is perfectly suited for families and groups seeking unforgettable sailing adventures.

Whether you’re exploring hidden coves or enjoying sunset anchorages with friends, the Sunsail 434 offers a sailing experience that is both exciting and effortlessly comfortable.

Bright, Open Living Spaces
Designed to maximise light and connection to the sea, the Sunsail 434 features expansive wraparound saloon windows that provide uninterrupted 360-degree views and fill the interior with natural light. A sliding glass companionway door seamlessly connects the saloon and aft cockpit, creating one large indoor-outdoor living space that’s perfect for entertaining, dining, or relaxing after a day under sail. With comfortable seating and a welcoming layout throughout, the yacht provides plenty of space for everyone to unwind. Outside, the spacious cockpit offers a large dining table and cushioned seating, making it the ideal gathering place for shared meals, morning coffees, or sunset drinks.

Four Comfortable Cabins for Shared Adventures
The Sunsail 434’s four-cabin layout comfortably accommodates up to eight guests, making it ideal for families or groups of friends cruising together. Each double cabin provides generous storage, large hull windows, and a bright, airy atmosphere designed for restful nights at sea. Well-appointed heads with showers ensure comfort and convenience throughout your charter. Thoughtfully arranged living spaces and private cabins strike the perfect balance between socialising and personal retreat.

Connected Sailing and Social Spaces
Leopard’s signature forward cockpit access door connects the saloon directly to the forward cockpit, improving airflow and providing safe, easy movement throughout the yacht. A comfortable forward seating area creates an additional social space ideal for relaxing underway or enjoying the breeze at anchor. Above, the coachroof lounge sits adjacent to the helm station, allowing guests to relax nearby while the skipper remains fully connected to both sailing and social life onboard.

Sporty Performance and Easy Handling
Designed to be responsive and enjoyable to sail, the Sunsail 434 features a modern wave-piercing hull shape, reverse bows, and an upgraded sail plan for improved efficiency and power. With the mast raised nearly a metre higher than its predecessor and a 12% increase in upwind sail area, the yacht delivers confident performance across a wide range of sailing conditions. Balanced handling and smart deck layouts make the Sunsail 434 easy to sail, whether you’re an experienced sailor or enjoying the freedom of bareboat charter for the first time.
