Forio-Ischia

Head towards Ischia and stop in the port of Forio. Here we will eat the typical and famous Rabbit, a recipe that has been passed down through the generations (for those who are not rabbit lovers there will be an alternative entree available). Unwind and bask in the spectacular views from this artisanal restaurant at the top of the mountain and visit a traditional wine cellar.

Day 3

Ischia to Ventotene

Head far out into the Gulf of Naples to the lively island of Ventotene. Enjoy a straight shot of blue water sailing as you leave Ischia in your wake. Navigate to Porto Romano on the island’s northeast coast. Here, we will moor in safety to explore the peaceful town on the island that boasts brilliantly colored vegetation and panoramic views.

Day 4

Ventotene to Ponza

Sail on to the next island in the Pontine chain, beautiful Ponza, which is situated 25 miles to the west. Here we will moor overnight in the Port of Ponza on the eastern side of the island. Snorkel the crystal-clear waters and explore the beaches and spectacular geological formations Ponza is known for. End the day’s adventures with a group dinner at a local restaurant, where delectable seafood cuisine is satisfying after a splendid day of sailing.

Ponza to Palmarola

Next in our sights is Palmarola, the most westerly of the Pontine Islands. Serving primarily as a nature reserve, Palmarola’s coast is dotted with incredible cliffs and grottos, allowing you to dive and snorkel alongside the rich marine life of the Tyrrhenian Sea. We’ll anchor overnight at this craggy gem of the Mediterranean.

Day 6

Palmarola to Port of Ischia

Leaving Palmarola in our wake, we’ll break up the day’s journey with a lunch stop at the tiny islet of Santo Stefano, just east of Ventotene. Then we set course for the main port on the northeast coast of the island of Ischia. Mooring overnight, enjoy a sociable happy hour before then stroll the bustling main street riddled with great nightlife and cuisine.
