Covid-19 Travel Restrictions in Tahiti

Welcome to Sunsail's marina in Tahiti. While The Islands of Tahiti are opening their borders for international travelers, certain Policies and Procedures will need to be followed when entering the country, before, and during your stay there.

When You Arrive

All fully vaccinated and unvaccinated guests must take an antigenic COVID-19 PCR-Test on arrival and a virological test on Day 4.
All travelers with proven immunity must take a serology test that shows that are positive for antibodies - this test must be taken 15 to 30 days prior to arrival, as well as a Day 4 virological test.

Children under 6 years old are not subject to quarantine if their parents are vaccinated.

Children over 6 years of age who are unvaccinated, not immune or tested positive to COVID-19 are subject to quarantine which will be imposed on the entire family.

All unvaccinated guests - including unvaccinated children aged 6+ - are required to spend 10 days in quarantine, and a Day 8 PCR test will be required.

A Day 4 self-test will be provided upon arrival to Papeete International Airport (PPT). The base will give you instructions on where to drop off your test kits. There are drop-off locations on each of the islands you will explore on charter.
