Corfu one-week bareboat
Corfu
You’ll start your bareboat holiday from lovely Gouvia Marina. The largest marina in the northern Ionian, Gouvia is situated just 15 minutes from cosmopolitan Corfu, where you’ll find candy-coloured Venetian buildings sprawling along the water’s edge. Explore Corfu’s Old Town, a UNESCO site; stroll the Liston, an arcaded street built during the French occupation; and wander the city’s green esplanade.

Corfu to Mandraki Harbour
Today you’ll take your new yacht on a short jaunt into the Ionian. Explore the water between Corfu’s northeast coast and mainland Greece. We suggest you head north towards the traditional Greek fishing village of Kalami. The sand-and-shingle beach is a Blue Flag winner and the natural cove means it’s sheltered from swells so it’s perfect for swimming. Whenever you’re ready, head south to Mandraki Harbour, situated just under the steep walls of Corfu’s Venetian fort.

Mandraki Harbor to Lakka, Paxos
Head south along Corfu’s coast toward the open waters of the Ionian and Lakka on the northern tip of Paxos. Tree-covered hills slope gently to the sea, providing shelter from the prevailing winds and creating a perfect harbour. Lakka’s pebbly beach gives way to golden sand as soon as you step in the water and on Harami Beach you’ll find banana boats, windsurfing and water skiing.

Lakka to Parga, mainland Greece
It’s a straight shot of blue-water sailing from Lakka to Parga on Greece’s mainland. Parga is packed with music bars, tavernas and kafenios (coffee shops), and the bustling harbour is alive with boats. Beaches frame the pretty coastal town; enjoy lively Kryoneri or head for the quieter shores of its little sister, Piso Kryoneri.

Parga to Sivota Mourtos
Follow the gentle curve of Greece’s craggy, mountainous coastline northwest from Parga. Watch the Sivota Islands grow larger in the distance as the Ionian slips away beneath your keel. These scenic islets are crowned with lush vegetation, providing sheltered and picturesque anchorage for visiting yachts. Drop anchor to swim and snorkel the islands’ glassy blue waters, or moor in the town marina to explore the warren of streets beyond.

Sivota Mourtos to Plataria, mainland Greece
It’s just a short hop from Sivota Mourtos north to Plataria, leaving you plenty of time to explore both Corfu’s southern shores and the coast of mainland Greece. A long breakwater leads to a bustling harbour, while tavernas and cafés dot the quayside. Walk 100 meters south along the harbour and you’ll find a sand and shingle beach.
