After a comprehensive briefing, set sail for Faaroa Bay on the east coast of Raiatea. Once back on the boat, set sail along the south coast of Raiatea, marveling at the wild landscape, waterfalls, and the sacred Marae Taputapuatea, with its impressive ancient stone formations. Anchor for the night at Vaiaau, and enjoy dinner at the local Fare Vai Restaurant.

Sail to Maupiti

Sail to South east of Bora Bora

Finish any provisioning in Vaitape (shops are usually open in the morning) and set sail after 10 AM for the best visibility. As you circumnavigate Bora Bora, enjoy breathtaking views of the island’s iconic mountain, Mount Otemanu, and the surrounding crystal-clear lagoon. Head towards the southeast of the island to reach the area known as “The Swimming Pool,” renowned for its shallow turquoise waters and fantastic snorkelling opportunities.
