Little Harbour (Day 1)
Enjoy a serene day at Little Harbour, a secluded gem on the southern edge of Abaco. This quiet bay is ideal for those seeking solitude and natural beauty. Drop anchor and head ashore to Pete’s Pub, a laid-back beach bar known for fresh seafood, rum punches, and its on-site bronze sculpture gallery and foundry. Swim in clear, calm waters, explore the surrounding shoreline, or simply unwind aboard your yacht and soak up the tranquility of this unspoiled anchorage.

Hope Town, Elbow Cay
Your journey continues south to the iconic Hope Town, located on Elbow Cay’s eastern shore. As you enter the harbor, you’ll be welcomed by the candy-striped Elbow Reef Lighthouse—one of the last operational kerosene lighthouses in the world. The village itself is a charming mix of colonial-style cottages, narrow lanes, and waterfront cafés. Take a bike ride along the island paths, snorkel off nearby beaches, or simply enjoy the relaxed, colorful vibe of one of the Abacos’ most beloved destinations.

Mooring
Moorings in Hope Town are available and marina slips can be reserved in advance of your arrival. Mooring balls in Hope Town are first come- first served. No anchorage is available in Hope Town Harbor, but due West of the Lighthouse between Elbow Cay and Pirate Cays. Marina dockage will be available at White Sound, and there’s an anchorage off Tahiti Beach.
Dinghy dockage: Dinghy dockage is available in Hope Town.
Things to do
The Wyannie Malone Museum is a tribute to Hope Town’s founder, Wyannie Malone, who fled South Carolina during the American Revolution and helped establish the settlement in 1785 with fellow refugees. The museum offers a fascinating look at this pivotal period in history, shedding light on the events that shaped the Bahamas and contributed to its unique character. A visit to Elbow Reef Lighthouse is also a must; the climb to the top rewards you with breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding area. In addition to exploring the museum and lighthouse, you’ll find a variety of charming, eclectic shops and local restaurants, including the popular Cap’n Jacks. For a more modern experience, head to White Sound, where you can relax at the Firefly Resort or enjoy a meal at Abaco Inn.

Great Guana Cay

The best anchorage is in Fisher’s Bay. Just North of Settlement Harbour. Bakers bay in the North has a great anchorage, but the activities are restricted to the beach, as the rest of property inland is private.

Things to do
Dive Guana is a full-service dive shop that also rents out bikes. There are several restaurants, including the famous Grabbers Bar & Grill, or Nipper’s. From Baker’s bay, venture to Spoil Cay with a dinghy for shell collecting and exploring.

Dockage is available at Orchid Bay Marina on the south side of Settlement Harbor.
