7 Day Sardinia and Corsica Flotilla Itinerary
Cannigione
Begin your flotilla charter with a warm welcome and refreshing libation at our base in bustling Cannigione, nestled in the northeast corner of Sardinia. Spend your first day getting to know your yacht and your new flotilla companions at our base before having the chance to explore the prosperous city, originally established as a fishing village in 1800. Tonight, you’ll sleep on board your vessel and begin your morning with a detailed yacht briefing.

Cannigione Village
The promenade near to port is a popular place to relax and unwind while eager snorkelers and divers can take advantage of a beautiful seabed that slopes gently into the ocean.
Canigione to Caprera/Budelli
Head towards Caprera and stop off for lunch at Cala Portese before heading onto Budelli to anchor overnight. Budelli is one of the most beautiful islands in the Mediterranean Sea. Located just south of Razzoli, Budelli is especially renowned for its Spiaggia Rosa, a gorgeous pink beach on the southeast coast whose unique coloring comes from microscopic fragments of corals and shells.

Hike the Monte Budello Path
A viewpoint not to be missed in Budelli is the Monte Budello path, the highest point on the island (88 meters). To reach the mountain, take the path that starts from the caretaker’s house and climb up until you reach the top. Once you get to the top you will have a breathtaking view of La Maddalena and the Straight di Bonifaccio.
Caprera/Budelli to Lavezzi/Bonifacio
Sail towards Lavezzi with a stop-off for lunch at Cala Ghiuncu before heading to Bonifacio, where we will be moored in port overnight. This medieval town, or City of Cliffs, is perched on a white limestone crag on the southern coast of Corsica. Known for its ecological preservation efforts of wild birds and other incredible flora and fauna, Bonifacio offers visitors timeless charm with delightful cafes, ancient houses, and sheer rock faces.

A Beach Haven
With numerous beaches to choose from, find your favorite one and create your own private nook in paradise. There are markers to help direct, no matter which way your curiosity leads you, and dazzling fish greet you when your feet hit the warm waters.
Plage du Petit Sperone
Treasured for its shallow turquoise waters and lagoon, this small beach gives you easy access to a flat walk to Piantarella, where you can explore the ancient remains of a Roman villa. This splendid coastal destination is also Corsica’s kitesurfing hot-spot.
Lavezzi/Bonifacio to Razzoli/Porto Madonna
Sail to the bay of Paragnanu with a stop off for lunch before heading to Razzoli, part of the Maddelena archipelago, characterized by authentic, sculptural granite cliffs, unspoiled vegetation, and marine fauna. We will then be anchored overnight at Porto Madonna.

Explore the hidden coves
Cala Cappello, Cala Noce, and Cala Lunga are hidden coves only accessible by sea and are perfect for snorkellers due to the rich marine fauna and flora.
Spargi
Sail towards Spargi, passing passed the pink beach of Budelli. Then we go to dock in the marina of La Maddalena, which is a quaint, slow-paced town of La Maddalena to moor overnight. For breathtaking panoramic views of the Strait of Bonifacio, meander the labyrinth of city streets to the Guardia Vecchia viewpoint.

Santo Stefano is the fourth largest island in the Maddalena archipelago and the only island with traces of prehistoric settlements dating from 2500-2000 B.C. Being part of the National Park, nature is abundant with unspoiled flora and fauna. Immerse yourself in the history and beauty of these must-see stops.

Santo Stefano/Caprera
Explore Porto Palma
Porto Palma is an inlet on the island of Caprera with a beach about 1 km long, particularly protected from the winds on two sides, to the west by Monte Fico and to the east by Punta Rossa. Near the beach, continuing in the direction of Punta Coda, you reach the Caprera Sailing Center, founded in 1967 by the Milanese section of the Italian Naval League and the Italian Touring Club.
Cannigione
Head back to our base in Cannigione for the final night onboard your yacht. As you make way, admire the active lighthouse Capo Ferro, which marks the southern entrance to the Strait of Bonifacio and to the Maddalena archipelago. Complete your flotilla adventure with a group dinner at an Agriturismo, or independently-owned farm. Here, you’ll try the Sardinian specialty of suckling pig and wrap up your island getaway satiated by flavorful cuisine and great company.
