Through two summer bank holidays this year we’re offering the chance to enjoy the 3-day, long weekend with a sociable flotilla trip to the Isle of Wight and back to enjoy the Solent, with a lead flotilla yacht and crew to guide you. A fantastic and unique way to see the Isle of Wight, this mini cruise will see you sail in company and embark on a tour of some of the most famous destinations of the Solent. Guided by your lead flotilla yacht and crew, soak in the beautiful scenery in our impressive fleet.

Suggested activities

Arrive at Port Solent Marina the night before to collect your yacht, receive handover from Sunsail base staff and be introduced to the other members of the flotilla party. Following an overnight stay at the marina on board your yacht, the group will set sail in the morning to Cowes, the home of UK yachting and sailing. There is also a G&T party in the evening on board the lead boat.

Suggested activities

Following the daily yacht briefing held by the lead crew, the party will set sail to the historic port town of Yarmouth. Sitting at the mouth of the River Yar, the town contains some of the oldest architecture of the Isle of Wight. In the evening, take part in an optional wine and cheese tasting evening on board the lead boat or go and explore the local restaurants nearby.

Following the daily yacht briefing held by the lead crew, the party will return back to Port Solent Marina where they will arrive with just enough time to sit back, relax and take in the many shops and restaurants located on the marina boardwalk.
