Sunsail Four Hour Guarantee
By maintaining our yachts to the highest standards we ensure that you make the most of your vacation time on the water. We strengthen this promise with our Four Hour Guarantee.
Should you experience a breakdown/technical problem during your charter, we will complete repairs within four (4) hours of notification of our nearest base, or we guarantee a credit towards a future Sunsail product, based on the daily flight exclusive charter fee.
The Sunsail Four Hour Guarantee covers all equipment considered essential to the operation of the yacht
- Engine
- Transmission
- Windlass
- Sails
- Standing and running rigging
- Battery and alternator
Excluded from the Sunsail Four Hour Guarantee are cellular phones, VHF, refrigeration, air conditioning, CD player, marine toilets, water pump, dinghy and outboard, depth and speed instruments and any other items that do not prevent yacht being operated.
Please note that if you plan to head outside the defined Sunsail sailing area you will be asked to sign a waiver and will not be covered by the Sunsail Four Hour Guarantee when you are sailing in these waters. Breakdowns occurring outside the defined sailing hours (0800hrs and 1700hrs) or due to user negligence, bad weather and Force Majeure are also excluded from The Sunsail Four Hour Guarantee.
The time of the breakdown will start from the point when direct contact is made between the charterer and Sunsail, and you must contact the base at the time of the problem or dissatisfaction. If we are unable to resolve the problem within four hours, we will guarantee a credit towards a future Sunsail product. The Sunsail Base Manager and the party leader must agree on the time lost and complete a guarantee form prior to departure from the marina.

Sunsail Value Guarantee
Sunsail represents the best value in sailing charters. To ensure you agree, should you find a like for like sailing vacation at a better value, we guarantee to match it. Similar vacation is defined as same size, type and age of yacht in the same destination for the same dates. Written proof is required and other restrictions may apply. Sunsail Care Plan - Your Vacation Protection Program

Realizing the commitment you make in time and money prior to your vacation, Sunsail, in conjunction with Travel Guard, has developed a plan to cover your investment – and your vacation.
Sunsail Care Plan can cover you from financial losses stemming from cancellations or interruptions due to:
- Family Illness Or Injury
- Being involved in a documented traffic accident en route to departure
- Hijacking
- Quarantine
- Damage To Your Home Due To Natural Disaster
- Other Causes, Such As Mandatory Jury Duty or subpoena
- It provides other benefits, as well including:
- Coverage for medical expenses and emergency medical transportation
- Accidental death & dismemberment coverage

When you confirm your reservation with your initial deposit, Sunsail will send complete details of the Care plan program along with the other documentation for your charter. You will have the option at that time to accept or decline the coverage offered. The cost of Sunsail Care Plan coverage is automatically added to your Vacation Estimate Of Costs as calculated on this website.
