St. Thomas, St. Croix and St. John combine cosmopolitan culture with pristine, sandy beaches, coral reefs and crystal waters ideal for diving or snorkeling. The locals are known for their friendliness, as well as their unique culture, cuisine and music.
Two-thirds national park, St. John’s lush trails make for spectacular hiking. Many of them end with unparalleled panoramic views of white beaches and emerald cays.
St. Thomas’s bustling port, Charlotte Amalie, is the capital of the U.S. Virgin Islands and one of the world’s most beautiful harbors, boasting white and red-roofed brick buildings from the days of Dutch power, with stunning emerald hills serving as a backdrop.
Please note: You must clear customs to visit the USVI. Even if you are an American citizen, you will still need a visa prepared for you by the Sunsail base. Please request this in advance. Please also note that clearing in to US waters and then back into BVI waters will take a few hours. It is advised that you plan a USVI visit to take at least a couple of days to maximize your vacation time.
