The Grenada Sailing Festival attracts sailing enthusiasts from all over the world. Starting on Friday 27th January, the Grenada Sailing Festival with presentation partners Port Louis and Camper & Nicholsons, will host four days of great competitive racing off the Island's southern coast, based out of the new Port Louis Marina. There will be a great mix of popular and new courses to provide challenging sailing for top quality international keelboats from the UK, USA, Europe, as well as strong competition from local yachts from Grenada & the Caribbean Region. Once the racing is over, skippers and crews will be treated to a great party programme focused at Camper & Nicholsons Port Louis Marina, and the ever-popular Dodgy Dock at True Blue Bay Resort & Marina.

For the second time, the Grenada Sailing Festival will present the traditional Digicel Independence Workboat Regatta on the following weekend (3rd - 5th February). This fantastic event, based on Grand Anse Beach will be staged as part of Grenada's Independence celebrations. Visitors coming to enjoy the two days of highly competitive sailing between local communities will also be treated to cultural dance & song, steel pan & traditional drum performances, arts & crafts, games and fun for all the family in the new Heritage Village.

    Suggested dates for charter: January 25th – February 2nd , 2012
    Suggested booking: 7 days, 2 days before start of race, and 2 days after end of race
    Type of Race: This is an international race, which is point to point.
    All Security Deposits and Insurances must be paid in advance of the charter.

    Racing Deposit$6,500Per yacht: Compulsory charge covering all elements of loss or damage during the specified period, except for negligence; payable by credit card at the Base. This deposit will cover the period of the race week plus 2 days. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure the boat is cleared by the base before switching back onto CDW cover (if requested).
