April 21 to May 1, 2011
Antigua Race Week was originally a local regatta which has subsequently evolved into an international event attracting competitors from all over the world. Thousands flock to the small island in the Leeward Islands to enjoy the party atmosphere and the non-stop social scene.
The boats are packed with Olympic and round the world standard sailors so it’s a chance to compete against the cream of the crop. Our base in Nelson’s Dockyard, a sailor’s favourite for hundreds of years, puts you at the heart of the action as the race runs through English Harbour, Jolly Harbour and Dickenson Bay.
Racing enthusiasts return year after year from all over the world for Antigua Race Week, a major event in the worldwide yachting calendar, to compete in the perfect conditions of the warm, steady trade winds.
