Known the world over for its beautiful scenery and excellent diving, a Koh Samui sailing itinerary offers an abundance of activities on and off the water. A tropical hideaway, the island is characterised by soft powdery beaches edged by traditional bungalow resorts. The popular islands of Koh Phangan and Koh Tao are also within reach of this ideal sailing destination.

Day 1: Bo Phut Beach (Sunsail Base)

Our base in Koh Samui offers wonderful sailing in an exciting area all year round, although we recommend you head here between May to October for the best conditions.

Day 2: Koh Phangan

Day 4: Maenam Beach

The 3 mile stretch of beach offers calm, shallow waters ideal for younger children, and a fantastic assortment of things to explore.

Day 5: Chong Mon Beach

Continue round this island to the more upmarket bay at Chong Mon Beach. Spend some time on the long sweeping beach here, or catch a ferry or speedboat over to Had Rin.

Day 6: Big Buddha Beach

Buddha Beach is ideally situated just to the west of Sunsail’s base at Bo Phut. The area is popular with those who don’t want to be right next to all of Koh Samui’s action, but not too far to take a short trip in.
