Sheltered by the backbone of Malaysia’s peninsular, Langkawi escapes the north-eastern winter monsoon completely and enjoys winter sun when the east of the country is flooded. Annual temperatures range from71-82 F (22 -28 C) and winds from 5 – 20 knots (5 – 23 mph).
