Although Procida’s neighboring islands Ischia and Capri are perhaps better known and a must-visit on your Procida sailing itinerary, Procida is the real gem of the Gulf of Naples. It is the perfect starting point for an Italian yacht charter. This small yet delightful island offers easy access to the Pontine Islands as well as the stunning Amalfi Coast.

Day 1: Procida

Day 2: Ischia (10 nm)

Unwind with lunch at Ischia’s beautiful Maronti Beach or explore the island’s historic Aragonese Castle. In the afternoon sail on to Ventotene (approximately 20 nm) and overnight at the dock in Ventotene harbor. There you can visit the fascinating Sea Museum. You might also like to dine ashore at either Ristorante da Benito or Grotte di Mastaniello.

Day 3: Ponza (20 nm)

Anchor in Ponza, at Chiaia di Luna Bay, or Frontone Bay where you can enjoy a party and BBQ on the beach. Another alternative would be to dine ashore at either Ristorante Solo Vela or Ristorante Orestorante.

Day 5: Ischia (45 nm)

Stop your cruise halfway, for lunch in Santo Stefano, Ventotene. After a gorgeous 25 mile sail, enjoy the evening anchorage in Ischia, at Maronti beach or Aragonese Castle.

Day 6: Capri (15 nm)

Visit the bustling island of Capri. Dock overnight in Capri harbour, or at Marina Piccola Bay. Enjoy dinner ashore at the well known Ristorante Paolino.

Day 7: Procida (35 nm)

Have lunch in Positano Bay; then sail on to Procida (approx 20 nm) where you’ll find a protected overnight anchorage in Chiaia Beach. Situated on the beach is Ristorante La Conchiglia. Staff from the Ristorante will come out to your boat and take you ashore for a wonderful meal on the beach.
