As you set sail on your Grenada yacht charter, you may notice the fragrance of nutmeg, cinnamon, cloves and ginger in this (spice) island’s balmy air. These warm winds offer both blue water sailing and sheltered island cruising. The winter months offer exciting and challenging sailing while the summer is a more relaxed, Caribbean style. Wind speeds range between 15 and 25 knots (17 – 29 mph) and temperatures average out at 84 F (29 C).  The dry season runs from late autumn until mid summer although it remains a fanastic place to sail at any time of year.
