Grenada Bareboat Yacht Charters

Grenada really is the spice island of the Caribbean. Untouched by mass tourism it possesses a feeling of a forgotten time. The capital of the island St. George’s, home to Sunsail’s base, is said to have the most picturesque waterfront in the whole of the Caribbean. The island’s history is alive here with old colorful houses, forts and buildings that have stood the test of time. If you want to step even further back in time, Grenada also consists of two smaller islands, Carriacou and Petite Martinique, which offer an even slower pace of life and are both in easy reach of the mainland. The friendly locals on the islands welcome visitors with open arms and will immerse you in their way of life.

More than 45 unspoilt white and black sand beaches line Grenada’s coastline, all of which are open to the public. Turquoise tinted waters lap the island’s shores and offer sublime snorkelling and scuba diving opportunities.

Further inland and nestled in the verdant tropical rainforests, are waterfalls and crater lakes teaming with a variety of tropical creatures. As you explore further you’ll be seduced by the smell of the spices that give Grenada its nickname and anyone visiting the island, a true taste of the Caribbean.
