Family Courses

A fun family experience!

When you sail together as a family, you are not only spending quality time with your children, you’re teaching them a fun and exciting new sport that they may love for the rest of their lives. They’re learning about teamwork and communication all the time on board.

Why not bring your 8 to 12yr olds along for one of our Family Courses -
One Day Taster, RYA Start Yachting or 5 Day Competent Crew? Over 12yr olds are welcome to!

DON'T FORGET Sunsail offer a 20% child discount for 8 to 12yr olds

Other family friendly courses
Sunsail actively promotes and encourages learning to sail and sailing together as a family which is why we offer the following:

• Children aged 13+ - Sunsail welcome your older children on any of our courses at any time of year as long as they are accompanied by at least one adult. Under 16s can get qualified as Comp Crew, over 16s can become Day Skipper. Remember 13 to 17 yr olds can go it alone on a Teenage Summer Cruising week.
  

• Shorebased – over 16s are welcome on our courses, but need to be accompanied by an adult if they are under 18 yrs.
