Accommodation & food

For the duration of your sailing course, your accommodation will be on board your yacht. For many of our course syllabuses it is a requirement that all participants remain on board throughout the instructional period - this includes overnight.

If you wish to spend some time ashore in your chosen destination before or after your course then our Yachting Reservations Team will be more than happy to help arrange a hotel or similar for you.

Course accommodation on board your yacht will be in shared cabins. Our fleet have modern, compact galleys, cabins, saloons and hot showers on board. For practical courses in the UK, please bring your own sleeping bag, pillow and towel. For courses overseas, bedding and bath towels are provided but not beach towels. Waterproofs can be hired where applicable.

Food
You will make regular stops to provision your boats and use the marina facilities (fees to be split among the crew). On a typical 5 day course, all your breakfasts and lunches and one evening meal are provided. Those with specific dietary requirements and / or vegetarians may wish to supplement with their own alternative provisions as we do not cater specifically for individuals. All our schools have good provisioning facilities nearby.
