The Whitsundays sit inside the greater barrier reef which runs down the north eastern coast of Australia and provides sheltered seas, fantastic sailing conditions and superb beaches.

The tidal range here is up to 4 metres giving you a tidal endorsement and winds are pretty reliable which is ideal for developing your skills.

The life under the sea is legendary and although you will not visit the outer reef during your course, it is definitely worth a visit for a spot of diving, snorkelling or from one of the glass bottomed boats that operates from the mainland.
