Sunsail Fleet Expansion

Sunsail proudly announces an unprecedented fleet expansion with millions invested in the purchase of 230 new yachts for 2011. Specifically, 35% of the fleet will be new with 142 charter yachts, 46 flotilla yachts and a matched-racing fleet of 42 yachts in the United Kingdom. Throughout the upcoming year, new models will debut, including the 3-cabin/2-head Sunsail 41; 3-cabin/1-head Sunsail F40; and the largest monohull in the fleet to date, the 5-cabin/4-head Sunsail 53.

To ensure that customers get the best experience, Sunsail has continued to invest and work closely with expert yacht designers and builders, Jeanneau to develop yachts that offer maximum comfort, easy handling and outstanding performance.

Sunsail 41

The superb new Sunsail 41 is an expansion of the current 39i, and will be available to Sunsailors in the British Virgin Islands, St. Martin, Greece, Turkey, Croatia and Australia.

The brand new Sunsail 41 is an outstanding addition to the Sunsail fleet, expanding on the current 39i. This superb new yacht built by Jeanneau features key design innovations, including a completely redesigned deck and sail plan, which make this boat fast and incredibly easy to handle – a charterer’s dream. On deck, she offers a spacious cockpit with twim helms, a generous sail plan and sleek lines.

Below, this yacht offers increased room throughout the interior, especially in the saloon and heads, and comes in a 3 cabin, 2 head layout.

Sunsailors will be able to enjoy this yacht in the British Virgin Islands, St. Martin, Greece, Turkey, Croatia and Australia.


Sunsail 53
Soon to be available in the BVI, Greece, Croatia and Australia, the Sunsail 53 is the largest yacht in Sunsail’s charter fleet and the perfect yacht for larger groups seeking both sailing performance and comfort. Above and below deck, her layout allows for plenty of room for socializing, but also offers practicality and performance where required.

Built by Jeanneau and designed by Vittorio Garroni, ease of handling was at the forefront of the Sunsail 53’s design. She features a contemporary interior that reflects a long nautical heritage and offers the comfort that charterers require. The layout accommodates up to 11 passengers in four finely appointed cabins, each with an en-suite head, and a forward crew cabin with a single berth and head.

The Sunsail 53’s spacious galley, air conditioning and lounging and dining areas add to the comfort of this exciting model.

 

‘Sunsail Racing’ with a brand new fleet of Sunsail F40s in the UK
The launch of “Sunsail Racing” is making waves throughout the global sailing community with a design that is focused on making a racing yacht accessible to anyone by meeting the interests of both competitive and casual racers.

Exclusive to Sunsail’s UK base in Port Solent, Sunsail are delighted to announce their existing matched fleet has been replaced by 42 brand NEW, identical Sunsail F40s, further improving Sunsail’s Racing and Events fleet as well as our Schools, Charters and Flotillas in the UK. This new fleet will remain the largest matched fleet in the world.

With a 3-cabin/1-head layout, large helm, spacious open cockpit and large sail plan, the F40 is ideally suited to racing. The new yacht’s configuration offers a tremendous amount of comfort and space without compromising on performance. In addition to the standard specifications this outstanding yacht also comes with spinnaker, heating, chartplotter and autopilot.
