Sunsail to add 15 new Monohulls to its award-winning charter fleet in the British Virgin Islands prior to the holidays

Steadfast in upholding the superior quality its clients have grown to expect, the company recently invested millions of dollars into the development of new yachts in more than 20 destinations across the globe. As part of this new fleet investment, we have a new fleet of Monohulls specifically chosen to cater to classic sailing enthusiasts, many of whom are Sunsail’s most loyal and longstanding charter clients.

Set to debut in the British Virgin Islands this December. These yachts include three all-new Sunsail 38’s which are a two cabin, one-head yacht perfect for small families or a romantic getaway. We will be adding 10 brand new Sunsail 47’s and two of our popular Sunsail 51’s.

The all-new Sunsail 38 is a sporty, spacious 2-cabin / 1-head cruiser designed by Marc Lombard and built by Jeanneau based upon the highly successfully Sunsail 41, which was awarded 'European Yacht of the Year'.

This model is the perfect cruising platform for a small family or two couples seeking a one of a kind on-the-water vacation. The Sunsail 38 represents the perfect balance of performance and ease of handling with a sail plan and hull design that delivers a powerful sailing experience even in light wind.

Also from the drawing board of Jeanneau’s Philipe Briande, the stylish Sunsail 47 offers three double cabins, all en-suite, and delivers all of the elegance and performance of her bigger sister. Emphasis is again on ease of handling. Sail controls are all readily accessible from the helm – simplifying the skipper’s job and maximizing fun and relaxation whilst underway.

Built to perform well under all conditions, this yacht from Jeanneau is dedicated to comfort.

The spacious Sunsail 51 is undoubtedly the star of the show. Experienced sailors delight at the ease of handling and glistening performance that’s at its best in the Caribbean’s steady winds. Topping Sunsail’s Premier Plus line up; the Sunsail 51 sports eye-catching lines above deck that is paralleled by the sumptuous interior below. With four comfortable double-berth cabins, each with its own head, this luxurious model boasts a generous open-plan saloon and well-equipped galley, ample on-deck relaxation areas, plus all the convenience of its own generator and air conditioning as standard.

These new additions follow the debut of the company’s newest catamaran, the Sunsail 404. Crafted by renowned catamaran producers Robertson & Caine, each model features a four-cabin layout designed specifically for families and groups of up to 10 guests.
