Scattered over 30 miles around the Sir Francis Drake Channel in the northeast Caribbean, the British Virgin Islands sailing area is one of the finest and most protected in the world.  The fine sailing and magnificent anchorages attract sailors from around the world and most visitors spend much of their time in or on the sea.

When you do venture onto dry land, the beaches are beautiful and uncrowded, giving you the freedom to relax on the white sand or snorkel and see the underwater treasures below the surface. And with hundreds of restaurants throughout the islands, the variety is endless and the dining is exceptional. From West Indian to Cordon Bleu cuisine, the British Virgin Islands have a restaurant to satisfy every palate, mood, and budget, from beach shacks with fantastic views to those located in historic sugar mills and fragrant tropical gardens.
