Sunsail flotilla vacations have grown in popularity since we invented them back in 1974, and today Sunsail continues to lead the way with the newest fleet in the world, custom designed for your cruising comfort. Our flotillas are loved by all types, both young and old, friends or families, of all level and ability, across the globe. Proof that flotilla sailing vacations really are the fun-filled, social sailing adventure that we say they are!
Sailing in Good Company
Flotillas are the ultimate in social sailing, providing the perfect balance between independent sailing and unobtrusive support. Each flotilla will have a maximum of 12 yachts in its group, where you will be able to discover and explore your chosen destination, either together or at your own leisure - it's entirely up to you.
As well as the reassurance of being part of a group of like-minded sailors, you will cast off each day with the support of your Lead Crew, including a Skipper, Host(ess) and an Engineer.
You can be as independent as you like, but your Lead Boat Crew are always nearby in case you need any assistance during your trip. They can recommend the best anchorages, harbours, restaurants and places to visit. Plus, if you need it, they'll help you with the mooring lines at the dock.
