As well as the reassurance of being part of a fleet, sailed by like-minded people, you will cast off each day with the support of your Lead Crew.  Onboard your Lead Boat will be a Skipper, Host(ess) and a Technician, then on dedicated ‘Family Flotillas’ we also add an Activities Coordinator to help entertain the kids too!

You can be as independent as you like, but your Lead Boat Crew are only a radio call away, just in case you need them. They can also recommend the best anchorages, harbors, restaurants and places to visit, ensuring that you make the most of your vacation time.

Skipper

Your Flotilla Skipper is fully qualified and is responsible for the Flotilla, making sure that your vacation is hassle free.  They will be on hand at the beginning and end of every day, if you need assistance with mooring or casting off, as well as between stops.  They will also hold daily chart briefings to help you make the most of your trip so you don’t miss out on exploring the best bits.

Host(ess)

Your Flotilla Host(ess) will know the best beaches, restaurants and bars and any other local attractions.  They’re central in organizing the social side of the Flotilla with welcome drinks, punch party and perfect places to eat for the rest of your vacation.

Of course you do not have to join everybody for dinner each evening but sharing your tales of the sea with your new friends or inviting the lead crew on your yacht for a beer at the end of the day, can all be part of the fun.

Technician

Your Technician will be on hand to make sure that each yacht in the Flotilla is running smoothly. Should you have any technical questions, just let your Technician know and they’ll be there to help, as he or she will know your yacht systems inside out!

Activities Coordinator

Available on Family Flotillas, your Activities Coordinator will be on hand to give you some time to yourself to socialize, relax or just simply enjoy a meal and a glass of wine or two without having to worry about what the kids are up to! From tiny tots to the older teens, they will provide fun beach games and activities to keep your precious ones entertained.
