DAY 1 : MALLORCA SUNSAIL BASE

Begin your Balearic adventure on arrival at our Mallorca base. Meet up with your lead crew and share a drink with fellow flotilla crews at an evening sangria party.

DAY 2 : MALLORCA BASE TO CALA PI: 19NM

Break free from the marina and head southeast for an 18.7nm stretch to Cala Pi. A cala is a narrow cut in the sheer cliff coastline, usually accompanied by a sandy anchorage. Cala Pi is a particularly attractive little fjord-like cala, with old fishing houses , stern-to moorings and a smattering of characterful restaurants. Free Evening: Dine aboard or ashore.

DAY 3 : CALA PI TO CALA FIGUERA: 21NM

The longest sail of the journey, today’s coastal passage skirts around Mallorca’s southernmost point on the way east to the almost-untouched Cala Ferrera. Stop off for lunch and a swim at one of the many sandy beaches and calas along the way, from Playa Es Trenc, with 2km of white sand, to the secluded Cala s’Almunia. We’ll hold a short briefing at 5:30 p.m, after which you’ll be free to wander around the old port at your leisure.

DAY 4 : CALA FIGUERA TO PORTO CRISTO: 16NM

The large and bustling town of Porto Cristo, our destination on day four, is famed for its beautiful beaches and abundance of shops and restaurants. Incredible blue-green water and its position in a long, sheltered inlet have made Porto Cristo a popular yacht stop for decades.

DAY 5 : PORTO CRISTO TO CALA MONDRAGO: 15NM

Travel to the tranquil Cala Marcal, a great lunch spot, for a patch of swimming and snorkelling. After lunch, set sail for Cala Mondrago, famed for its pristine beaches and topaz-blue waters. Venture ashore and check out the sprawling national park, or relax and regroup ahead of the evening Beach Party.

DAY 6 : FREE SAILING DAY

Sail wherever you please. Join forces with others and explore Cabrera National park together, or go it alone and plot a course for Cala Blava.

DAY 7 : MALLORCA BASE

Enjoy the mountainous coastline as you cruise back into Palma. If there’s time to spare, explore the narrow streets and shops of this ancient town. Visit the striking cathedral, and celebrate a superb week of sailing with an end of flotilla paella party on the dock.
