Croatia boasts one of the sunniest climates in Europe, and the good weather and blue skies make for very pleasant conditions. It is not surprising that Croatia has been a popular flotilla destination for many years.
Winds are lighter in the mornings with afternoon breezes and calm nights. Early and late in the season there are south/south-easterly variable winds, but generally winds are north/north-easterly and steady.
Navigation is line-of-sight and tidal range is minimal so no real currents to worry about. Water temperatures a beautifully swimmable 72 F (22 C) in the summer .
