Overview - Give us a summary of your time with Sunsail?

I'd originally booked for bare boat, but was quite relieved when we were put on flotilla, as my wife had limited sailing experience. The initial introduction to the boat was thorough and welcome, allowing us to set sail with confidence. Having someone on shore to guide us in was also a bonus. We quite enjoyed the commoradery for the first few days, but were happy to have a couple of days to ourselves in the middle. The best part - aside from the great sailing and fab scenery - were the Sunsail staff who were supportive, competent and great fun.

Is there anything else you would like to share?

We were a bit surprised by the cost of Croatia - especially the overnight mooring fees and the restaurant prices. We sailed in Greece a couple of months later and found both much cheaper. The facilities in Croatia were better, but at a price.

Yachts - What was the best thing about your yacht?

It was almost new (and everything worked, though hoisting the main was tricky without pre-slackening the reefing lines.

Tips - Do you have any advice for fellow Sunsail guests visiting this destination?

Take you credit card - your cash will soon go!

Highlights - What were the most memorable experiences of your holiday and where on your itinerary did they happen?

Good - Mooring on the south side of Sv Klement near Hvar for an early morning swim Bad - getting caught out in a "blow" crossing from Hvar to Brac.

A very relaxing and beautiful holiday

Overview - Give us a summary of your time with Sunsail?

We felt welcomed and well looked after throughout our holiday. The information on the area, facilities and places to eat were spot on. i think having locals as the lead crew is essential.

Is there anything else you would like to share?

Our only bad restaurant experience was at the restaurant at the Kremik base., the food and the service was unacceptable. On arrival day we were worried that the whole holiday might mirror that initial experience.

Yachts - What was the best thing about your yacht?

393- roomy and well equipped, two heads- very necessary.

yes, Don't eat at that restaurant !

Highlights - What were the most memorable experiences of your holiday and where on your itinerary did they happen?

We loved the Krka national park and the journey up the river to it.

We have sailed with Sunsail for the past Seven years - Twice from Debrovnik (north) - Kremik five times - north once and four times south.We just love it.

Yachts - What was the best thing about your yacht?

This year especially, being able to get on board early. Yatchs are always clean and tidy.

Make sure you visit Maslinica on the island of Solta -

Highlights - What were the most memorable experiences of your holiday and where on your itinerary did they happen?

At Maslinica, we have made friends with Allen over the years, he helps you moor your yacht, he is really friendly, whch adds to the charm of this great stopover. Great place to try a traditional Croatian called Peka.
