Sailing Conditions

Croatia boasts one of the sunniest climates in Europe, and the good weather and blue skies make for very pleasant conditions. It is not surprising that Croatia has been a popular flotilla destination for many years.

Winds are lighter in the mornings with afternoon breezes and calm nights. Steady winds in this region boasts some of the best sailing in the Mediterranean.

Navigation is line-of-sight and tidal range is minimal so no real currents to worry about. Water temperatures a beautifully swimmable 82 F (28 C) in the summer . 

Dubrovnik flotilla vacations are suitable for reasonably experienced sailors and you do need a valid ICC (International Certificate of Competence), RYA Day Skipper Certificate or higher to be able to sail here.
