On your Grenada Flotilla itinerary you’ll spend time snorkeling, hiking, diving and exploring many beautiful spots along the route from Grenada, through the waters surrounding the Grenadines, Tobago Cays and St. Vincent.

In Grenada, enjoy the rolling mountainous island is dotted with world famous white and black sand beaches, crater lakes, rainforest and nutmeg plantations that the (spice) island is best known for. Grenada’s rum distillery tours are also a must for any seafaring sailor.

Day 1: Arrive at Port Louis Marina

Port Louis Marina is the yachting capital of Grenada, and an excellent base from which to begin a 2-week flotilla adventure to explore Grenada, its sister islands of Petit Martinique and Carriacou, and the spectacular Grenadines, located just a few miles to the north.

Day 2: Tyrell Bay, Carriacou

A stunning paradise awaits snorkelers and divers on a Flotilla to Carriacou, which is home to some of the Caribbean’s most pristine reefs, and all are waiting to be discovered. This is an island rich in its traditions, proud of its folklores and ever-welcoming to the passing sailor.

Day 3: Chatham Bay, Union Island

Anchor here with the rest of your flotilla and spend some time snorkeling along the cliff wall, where puffer fish, turtles and brightly colored fish can be seen in abundance.

Day 4: Petite Martinique

Petite Martinique is the smaller sister island of Carriacou, lying just 3 miles east of the north end. It is about a mile in diameter and looks like a mountainous pyramid rising out of the ocean.

Day 5, Saltwhistle Bay, Mayreau

This sweeping sandy bay is one of the most romantic, secluded places you’ll ever find.

Day 6, Tobago Cays

The huge Horseshoe Reef that protects these five deserted islets, provides some of the best snorkeling and diving in the world. Petit Bateau provides a shaded beach to the north and an easterly beach that is the best choice for beginning snorkelers as it has calm shallow water. You can’t miss the turtles that swim in abundance here.

Day 7, Tobago Cays

The huge Horseshoe Reef that protects these five deserted islets, provides some of the best snorkeling and diving in the world. Petit Bateau provides a shaded beach to the north and an easterly beach that is the best choice for beginning snorkelers as it has calm shallow water. Day 8, Canouan

Head to Raffles resort and golf course, this has become a top destination for the jet-set in recent years.

Day 10: Clifton Harbor, Union Island

After visiting the bustling town of Clifton, head to the stylish Anchorage Yacht Club for lunch overlooking the harbor.

Day 11, Petit St. Vincent

This is an exclusive and charming private island with excellent snorkeling. From here take a dinghy across to Mopian Island.

Day 12, Carriacou Island

A Carriacou flotilla charter will take you on a truly authentic experience. With endless sheltered anchorages, an ideal year-round climate and beautiful cruising grounds, Carriacou is a Caribbean gem worth visiting.

Day 13, Prickly Bay

Prickly Bay on the southern coast of Grenada is a magnet for the sailing community and a wonderful place to stop-over as you explore this magical coastline on a Prickly Bay boat charter. There are shops, bars and restaurants a plenty. Nearby is Grand Anse Beach, one of the ten best in the world, and the open-air market at St. George’s.

Day 14, Return to Port Louis & Explore St. Georges

After your flotilla returns to Port Louis Marina, spend time exploring the beautiful town of St. Georges, located just across the harbor. The area is filled with rich history, great hikes, restaurants along the Carenage and a unique Market Square.
