Chaweng Beach

Once a deserted tropical bay, Chaweng, the most popular beach on Koh Samui, has transformed in to the most vibrant and cosmopolitan area on the island.  This 5 mile stretch of beach offers absolutely everything; the north end is the most quiet and picturesque with shallow waters, perfect for anyone traveling with younger children, or alternatively head to the vibrant south.  With its magnificent collection of restaurants, bars and shops, with this area south Chaweng Beach offers something to cater for every taste.  Despite being one of the most developed areas on Koh Samui, Chaweng remains one of the most beautiful beaches with gleaming white sand, lined by sweeping coconut palm trees.

Just a few hundred metres out from the northern end of the beach sits the little uninhabited island, Koh Matlang.  Koh Matlang provides the perfect opportunity for exploring, either on top of the water on a Sunsail Kayak or under it with your snorkeling gear.  Chaweng beach also has a fantastic range of watersports on offer with windsurfing equipment and catamarans available to hire.

Chewang Beach is considered the hub of Koh Samui and is the perfect place to charter your yacht if you want to experience the electric atmosphere on offer.
