Bo Phut

Just ten minutes away from Koh Samui’s airport is Bo Phut Bay, one of Koh Samui’s oldest settlements and home to Sunsail’s yacht charter base.  Bo Phut beach is said to be one of the island’s best and sweeps down 2 miles of Koh Samui’s beautiful northern coastline.  Lined with tall palm trees, the beach offers superb views of the neighboring island Koh Phangan, and has a wide selection of watersports to choose from.

While Bo Phut is just a short distance from all the action, it offers a more peaceful and relaxed alternative for those looking to unwind away from all the hustle and bustle.  Bo Phut is also known as Fisherman’s Village because of its fishing history.  Unsurprisingly this is where some of the best fish can be found and eaten on the island.  The village is one of the most authentic on Koh Samui, with original Chinese architecture dating back more than a century when Chinese immigrants settled in the area.

Many would agree that Bo Phut evokes the same charming atmosphere that was discovered by the two tourists that first stepped off of their coconut boat, and on to Koh Samui, over 40 years ago.  We are sure you will agree that it is the perfect starting point for an unforgettable adventure on a Koh Samui yacht charter.
