Koh Phangan lies just over 9 miles north of Koh Samui and as you approach from the water (the only way to reach the island) you’ll see that it boasts the same beautiful scenery as its big sister, but with a more laid back atmosphere.
Famous for its full moon party, Koh Phangan attracts people from all over the world and all walks of life. On the night that the full moon makes its bold appearance, people flock to Haad Rin Beach to take part in the biggest beach party in the world. Watching this colorful night unfold from the deck of your yacht is a spectacle not to be missed.
Away from the lights and excitement of the Full Moon Party, Koh Phangan offers a remote paradise. Many of the beaches are secluded with just a few basic huts scattered along the waterfront and authentic long tail boats dotted along the shores. Thong Nai Pan Noi and Thong Nai Pan Yai are two of Koh Phangan’s most idyllic and beautiful beaches.
These twin coves form a scenic double bay with soft white sand and a mountainous backdrop covered in tropical jungle. From the beach, walking trails heading off in to the rainforests lead to Koh Phangan’s spectacular waterfalls, surrounded by exotic wildlife. Difficult to access by road, this stunning area gives anyone with access to their own boat a great opportunity to slip away from the crowds.
