Klong Prao is the largest beach on Koh Chang, which is split into three sections by the Klong Plu Waterfall and a river channel in the south. Klong Prao beach is much quieter than White Sand Beach, offering tranquil surroundings and unique landscapes of mangroves with views over the river and the sea.

The beach has become a center for major upmarket resorts and health spas and being the largest beach on Koh Chang, Klong Prao is ideal for a variety of watersports including canoeing, kayaking and snorkeling. There are also a few cooking schools towards the southern end of the beach teaching traditional Thai cuisine.

A stop at Klong Prao beach on a Klong Prao yacht charter, allows you the opportunity to experience the Khlong Phu waterfall and Chang Chutiman elephant camp. Local restaurants serve up local Thai dishes and popular Western food as well as a variety of Northeastern specialties. Visitors must also experience the fresh crustaceans. A highlight of a stay in Klong Prao is a visit to the canal at night to see fireflies dancing around in the twilight.
