The anchorage at Kizilkuyruk lies under a distinctive reddish cliff on the indented coastline of Skopea Limani and makes for an excellent stopover on a Kizilkuyruk yacht charter. Choose whether to be lazy and simply chill out on the deck of your yacht, swimming and snorkeling when the mood takes you, or dinghy ashore and walk to the ancient site of Lydae, about an hour away.

The Roman and Byzantine ruins – which include two mausoleums, sections of paved road and some columns - are to be found in a splendidly isolated location. The city was never an important one and died out after Byzantine times.
