Whitehouse Bay St. Kitts

Whitehouse Bay, located at the south-eastern end of St. Kitts, offers a very special snorkeling experience. The beach here is rocky, and attracts few swimmers, but has created quiet and tranquil place. The scenery is stunning with good views of Guana Point, Little Salt Pond and Great Salt Pond (both of which are home to a huge number of wading birds), and the water is calm, making it an ideal spot to drop anchor and laze away a few hours.

The natural reefs, a sunken tugboat and an 18th century British troop ship that sunk in the Battle of Frigate Bay are all home to an incredible variety of tropical fish and other marine life. Cockleshell Bay and Banana Bay are located nearby and both offer beautiful beaches. Ballast Bay is another popular anchorage nearby.
