Mustique

The exclusive island of Mustique, part of the Grenadines, lies just south of Bequia. Britannia Bay is the main anchorage where you can pick up a mooring; then take a dinghy ashore to see what keeps the rich and famous, the royalty and the rock-stars coming back to Mustique year after year.

Take a hike or mountain-bike through the lush green hills that comprise the central spine of Mustique. Ride a horse on the beautiful Macaroni Beach or laze around, swimming and snorkeling on one of the many white-sand stretches of idyllic perfection that encircle this tiny island. As you sail along the the coasline you'll see luxurious mansions and waterfront villas. The late Princess Margaret was given 10 acres of this beautiful island as a wedding present, on which she built a residence that she named Les Jolies Eaux.

You never know who you might bump into over a rum cocktail at Basils Bar so make sure to bring your camera ashore.
