Great Harbor on Jost Van Dyke Island is perhaps most famous as the home of Foxy’s, the legendary BVI hangout named after its revered owner, Foxy Callwood. Foxy’s is a bar and restaurant as well as a venue for live music and general high-jinks.  Nights at Foxy’s tend to start early and end late.

Depending on the time of year that you find yourself in Great Harbor, you might coincide with one of Foxy’s famous parties. On New Year’s Eve, Great Harbour turns into one huge floating party raft and there’s another big party at Halloween.

Foxy himself is a force of nature and was awarded an MBE in recognition of his great work catering to the every need of the sailors who have been fidning their way to his establishment for decades.
