Great Guana Cay used to be owned by Disney and was used as a stopping point by its cruise ships. It’s easy to see why this pretty, picture-perfect island would have appealed to the world’s greatest fantasy merchants. The island is now in the process of being developed as the Bakers Bay Golf and Ocean Club with marina facilities and a Tom Fazio-designed golf course.
At the northern end of the island lies the pretty anchorage of Bakers Bay, an idyllic protected spot in which to drop anchor and chill out on your Bakers Bay yacht charter. The sandy beaches of Great Guana Cay are popular with beachcombers, with plenty of treasures in the way of shells and intriguing driftwood to collect and bring home as a souvenir.
