Enjoy a week of beach life and all the usual watersports at a Sunsail Club and then spend a week exploring on a flotilla. Flotilla sailing is the best way to discover the hidden gems of your chosen country in the company of other yachts. On your own yacht or as part of a Share A Yacht* crew, enjoy stunning scenery and great group sailing, all under the guidance of a lead boat, consisting of a skipper, hostess and engineer, who will be there for help and advice throughout the week if you need it.

With Club Flotilla routes throughout Greece, Turkey and the Caribbean there are options for those learning; families, groups of friends and more experienced sailors and each route offers a flexible itinerary allowing you to sail with the group or take advantage of as much free sailing as you like.

Families have a great time on flotilla. The yachts are equipped with child safety harnesses and life jackets and safety nets are available for you to fit if you are traveling with smaller children. During the school vacations there tends to be more children on our routes and so some of our flotillas are designated ‘family’ flotillas, where a Kids’ Activity Co-ordinator joins the lead crew to organize games and activities especially for the kids when you moor up.

Although we do not require any set yacht qualifications for you to join flotilla we do recommend that at least one or two of your crew have some sailign experience or have completed a flotilla training course at the Club. More than anything, this a great way to boost your knowledge and confidence before you set off, but if you are unsure about your level of experience, please call our sales team for advice for the particular area you wish to cruise.

An ideal way for those with little or no experience to enjoy a week crewing on flotilla is under the guidance of your own Sunsail Skipper who will live on board with you and guide you and your crew through your sail. A Skippered Share A Yacht boat is also available throughout the season on the Galini flotilla in Greece. Please call for specific dates. **
