Sea Urchins

Treasure hunts, drawing and painting, dress up, quiz competitions, craft activities and supervised swimming – it’s non stop activity for Sunsail Sea Urchins, all fully supervized by our trained activity assistants (ratio of one activity assistant to 6 children).

Out on the water, Sea Urchins also get a chance to try out sailing, windsurfing and other watersports using our special kid’s rigs. They also get to play short tennis with training from our resident tennis coaches.

All children under 13 are entitled to special meals, designed for younger appetites and timed accordingly. At lunchtime there is a varied menu including mash and baked potatoes, bbq beans, a selection of salads, cooked vegetables, ham, bread, fish fingers, rice and potato wedges. The dinner menu includes dishes such as home made fish cakes, macaroni cheese and vegetable hot pot. Children are always welcome to attend meals with adults too.

Evening childcare options for Sea Urchins

Activity Club

The activity club is a great option for those children who do not require a one to one babysitter. Running from 6.30 in the evening until midnight and open to all children over the age of 5, the activity club is based in the Kids’ Club area and run by staff who are First Aiders and CRB checked, following a program of fun activities. There are also facilities for younger children to sleep. This service runs on non-inclusive evenings and is subject to staff availability.

Parents can leave the Club while their children are in the activity club, but a cell phone contact will be required in case of any emergency occurring.

Family discounted rates apply as follows:

1 child £4.50 UK per hour.
2 children £6.75 UK per hour.
3 children £ 9.00 UK per hour.
4 children £ 11.25 UK per hour.

Video club

On inclusive evenings a video club will run from 7-10pm, showing films from our kids’ video library for children aged 3 and above, supervised by staff who are First Aiders and CRB checked. Children need to be toilet trained to attend video club.
