Close to Vounaki there is plenty of History and Architecture to explore all within easy reach, but there is also even more on offer if you are combining your Club vacation with a Flotilla. 

From the Club you can visit the ancient city of Kekropoula, part of Paleros municipality and a place where King Kekhropa once ruled. You can also visit the ancient site of Sterna, visit the ruins of the old village of Peratia or cycle up to to the foot  of the Acarnanian Mountains  where the St. Dimitrios Monastery sits, dating back to the 16th Century this place reeks of history and religions significance.
